OOoh who has been TANGO'd ? Orange will be popular during Spring and lace is certainly still more apparent in high street shops, however the length of the dress did no favours for Fergie at this year's Grammys. Perhaps a shorter version may have been more complimentary. The fish tale/mermaid shape is not flattering for those with narrow hips (Shakira could have rocked this outfit !!). Fergie bought the Gaultier dress a few weeks ago in Paris. She put a lot of pressure on herself by wearing this - what kind of underwear would you wear with this outfit ? A G string may be too crass but the grannie underwear also seemed to miss the point....sigh. This outfit could have worked had it been nude coloured or even black. Oh well let's see what she comes up with next time. Miss 4/10 (thumbs down)
Carrie Underwood wore a long-sleeve backless Gomez-Gracia gown at this year's Grammies. Carrie looked particularly elegant in this STARTLET gown. The long-sleeve backless gown features intricate embroidered sequins on tulle. Carried donned very subtle jewellery and her black clutch bag had the right amount of sequins to make this outfit a hit. Carrie was put forward for Best Country Solo Performance but didn't pick up any awards in the end. Her outfit gets a big 'thumbs up' from FashionThirst, the length is classy, the backless style is sensual and the long sleeves suggests it's not Spring just yet. Well done Carrie. Hit 8/10.
