My model of the moment is the very determined and focused Sharlotte Ritchie also known as S.R. , an absolute beauty with brains to match. The modelling industry has seen a lot of Miss Ritchie and her work over the years. She’s an inspiration to young aspiring models everywhere, succeeding in all that she puts her mind to, and never letting anything hold her back from achieving her goals and dreams, a real go-getter in the true sense of the word.

2010 ended with SHARLOTTE RITCHIE going dot com (www.sharlotteritchie.com) , closely followed by the finished production of her very own official calendar. In February 2011 Sharlotte then went on to hold an official calendar launch party at A-list club : Movida. In speaking to her prior to the event her only wish was that the night would run smoothly, she simply couldn’t of asked for more. It was a night of pure glitz, glamour, music, beauty and fashion.

The night popped off quite literally with a glass of champagne on entrance, and with a flick of a switch we saw the unique brightly coloured dance floor become a luxurious runway. Mr Myles Lemon of 3Mindz Production Ent took to the stage as host of the night, and amped up the crowd in preparation for what was to follow, he welcomed seven lovely models including Miss Ritchie herself. They each in turn took to the runway showcasing the Valentines Collection by lingerie house ‘If You Please’ owned by Designer Amber Thompson & a few pieces from ‘Sugarlesque’ .

We saw seven equally sexy but very different looks, that i would describe as; nautical, 50′s glam, retro, vintage sheik, chic, romantic, and animalistic. Glitter galore and petals adorned the runway in full flight, as the ladies fiercely strutted their stuff to the sounds of ‘Diamonds are forever’. Sharlotte brought the show to a close as a Cleopatra muse, with Egyptian themed accessories, looking like a modern day Cleopatra while owning the runway in her Red KG Echinea’s by Kurt Geiger.

With the evening off to a bang, recording artist ‘Starboy Nathan’ was welcomed to the stage, where he performed three songs. Including his current single ‘Diamonds’, which Sharlotte stars as the leading lady. Performance over and the party got really started, as the dance floor opened up to the public, and guests alike. We were ushered over to the VIP part of the club where celebs, press, fashionista’s, and guests mingled and soaked up the party atmosphere.

Sharlotte disappeared off to change into her after-party attire, and returned in a sexy black and white off the shoulder sequined dress by’Ring Spun’ , with fuchsia pink peep toe Kurt Geiger heels. Miss Ritchie had promotional girls on the night who rocked custom made T’s, and weaved in and out of the crowd selling the official S.R calendar, handing out goody bags filled; with the calendar itself, luxury cupcakes, L’oreal products, and a 3mindz mix tape to name a few, all courtesy of Miss Ritchie.

Next the world saw Miss Ritchie grace their screens as the leading lady in Nathan’s video, for his latest single ‘Diamonds’, she dazzled in three different outfit changes. In the first scene she was sexy but casual in; a beige top, dark denim jeans with heels and a camel coloured jacket, wearing her hair in a fierce editorial bob which frames her face perfectly. The second scene saw Sharlotte taking in a more comfy but cute look wearing; an oversized soft blue t-shirt and light grey leggings, with a full side fringe and short back and sides. In the final scene looking sophisticated and sleek she wore; a black side cut out dress with black lace netted heels, and her hair pulled back off of her face. This video became number one in the MTV Base charts.

After a recent trip to LA Sharlotte returned with news of a feature in Far East Movements ‘OMG’ feat Snoop Dogg. As one of the leading ladies we saw Sharlotte looking effortlessly stunning, wearing a bold red Cherry-tree top and black leggings with heels, looking casually glam, smiling and having a good time with the members of Far East Movement.

From London to LA, taking over the world one city at a time.
Miss Sharlotte Ritchie is one to watch, I will definitely be following her rise to the top!

I wish her well.

Kamola’s designs graced the AW10 Fashion Mavericks London Fashion Week show with sleek lines and romantic, feminine shapes. Inspired by Film Noir and pre-19th Century art movements, Kamola’s collection gave us a serious dose of Femme Fatale.
The jewel toned palettes complemented by the fitted shapes in opulent ‘second-skin’ fabrics and detailed necklines with clever touches such as a high-neck one-shoulder sheer lace gown (left) showed us a new, daring twist to formal dressing.
Ruffled shoulders and velvet cocktail dresses accessorised with long gloves and pulled-back chignons were other looks that emphasised the lady-like chic that has been spotted across various runways this season; and we’re so glad it’s back.
