An extravagant showcase of unique attire walked the red carpet during the annual award ceremony, the Oscars. Located in the heart of Los Angeles, Hollywood for the biggest night of the year.
This year the Oscars took place at the Dolby Theatre where many A-list celebrities were seen wearing alluring gowns and couture dresses in attendance to the luxury event.
Lady Gaga arrives in a full-length black bustier Alexander Mcqueen gown, with exaggerated hips accessorised with long gloves and Tiffany & Co jewellery.
Jennifer Lopez wore a glistening metallic dress by Tom Ford which complimented her curvaceous figure. A high polar neckline and full-length sleeves gave a modest and fashionable look finished with mosaic detailed fabric.
Chadwick Boseman kept his red carpet look minimalistic with a black and silvery tailored suit by Givenchy, completed with a high neck scarf collar which gave his outfit a unique finish.
Angela Bassett arrives in a custom Reem Acra gown, worn in vibrant cerise pink. The off the shoulder, silhouette had a sassy side slit and an oversized pleated bow giving the feminine pink assemble a dramatic look for the evening.
Continuing the pink trend down the red carpet was Gemma Chan, in an opulent sleeveless Valentino couture frock, detailed with minute pleats and a high ruffled collar.
Linda Cardellini turned many heads with a striking ruffled look by Schiaparelli Couture. The gown large with Layers had dramatic tulle ruffles creating a voluminous look, finished with a pastel pink bow.
Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa paid tribute to the legendary Karl Lagerfeld. Jason wore a simple and sweet rose pink velvet tuxedo, accompanied by his partner Lisa Bonet also in a rose pink gown with beaded detailing. Both outfits were designed by the late Karl Lagerfeld before he sadly passed away.
Laura Harrier attended the event in a pastel blue Louis Vuitton gown with sparkly embellishments, a sexy side slit accessorised Bulgaria jewellery and strappy heels.
Amy Adams wore an angelic bustier gown, custom made by Versace. The off the shoulder silhouette illuminated with zigzag sparkly fabric in an off white tone. Overall creating a heavenly look that extenuated Amy's womanly physic.
Rami Malek kept his look sophisticated and sharp with a custom made tuxedo by Saint Laurent.
Laura Dern made an appearance in a sweetheart neckline gown with front ruching details. The Full-length dress, also off the shoulder was a deep maroon-purple giving an elegant and delicate look for the occasion.
Overall the Oscars red carpet looks where both eccentric and inspiring, with a range of celebrities attending in rememberable outfits. Pink tones and ruffles were the strongest trends seen throughout the event, as attendees celebrated each other's achievements within the film industry.

Military references where present through jackets made of pure Italian wool, the use of floral fabrics, Aran knitwear and woven prints created an opulent look. Details included ruffles, billowing sleeves, pleats, oversized bows, and fish hemlines.
Each look was accessorised with black heeled boots, models wore their hair in a slick back high bun with natural makeup.

London based designer Krystov Stroznya is gearing up to launch his new ‘Signature’ collection this week - a 12 piece treasure trove of dresses, skirts, jackets and tops, drawing on inspiration from his design archives. Stroznya is even trying his hand at jewellery, affordably priced from £40.
The collection features perfectly structured shift dresses in a minimal aesthetic in a vivid citrus colour palette of oranges and yellows, tinged with red creating depth of colour. Sharply tailored tops and skirts create flattering lines, accentuating the female form.
The collection’s private launch next week Wednesday in Mayfair is sure to have the fashion crowd buzzing with excitement the moment the collection hits stores.
