There is romance here, but it comes with McQueen’s familiar sense of danger. Corseted waists, elongated lines and translucent surfaces transform traditional notions of femininity into something darker, stronger and distinctly modern.
Elsewhere, sweeping floral gowns introduce an unexpected lightness, their softly gathered silhouettes and cascading ruffles moving effortlessly around the body. Against this romanticism, pared-back tailoring brings a sharper attitude. A sleeveless, high-neck mini dress in deep chocolate brown follows the body with uncompromising simplicity, its clean construction allowing the silhouette to speak for itself. Oversized eyewear and a structured two-tone bag inject a distinctly retro sophistication.
Accessories complete the mood. The architectural Niko boots bring weight beneath the collection’s ethereal fabrics, while the Soft Knuckle Clutch, punctuated by signature metal hardware, adds a rebellious punctuation.
